Mid-Century Dresser Makeover

Okay, so I didn't refinish this myself this was my husband's project - it was a gift for me. And I wish I had taken more pictures but he wouldn't let me see what he was doing.
I love the shape and how sturdy this is.  He purchased this for $35.00 at a local second-hand store - on sale.  The back needed a few nails,  and the bottom trim needed a lot of sanding.
He took the handles and spray painted them with a satin nickel chrome and baked them in the oven for a few hours.  Finally, he painted the dresser with a gloss black  (Benjamin Moore) - only two coats sanding each coat.

For $35.00 (paints were leftover from another project) I have a really nice dresser.
